A violent storm has left a trail of sorrow in Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh, after strong winds caused a series of deadly accidents on Thursday. The sudden weather shift turned a quiet day into a scene of catastrophe for several families.
In the first incident, a tribal family faced the brunt of the storm when their home gave way. A brick wall and a tin shed collapsed under the pressure of the fierce winds, killing three people instantly. Two other family members sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving urgent medical care at a nearby hospital.
Tragedy struck again in a separate location during the same storm. An 80-year-old woman, identified as Bharosi Bai Vaishnav, lost her life after the auto-rickshaw she was traveling in overturned due to the hazardous conditions.
Local authorities have since launched an investigation into the incidents. Officials are actively providing support to the affected families and have issued a strong warning to residents, advising them to avoid staying near weak or dilapidated structures until the weather stabilizes.
