After a three-year hiatus from streaming platforms, actor Pulkit Samrat is set to make a thunderous return in the upcoming Netflix sports thriller, Glory. The actor plays the role of Ravi, a fierce boxer whose raw aggression in the ring follows him into his personal life.

Preparing for the role was no walk in the park. Samrat explained that playing a professional fighter required more than just physical training; it demanded a total shift in his mindset. He noted that the camera and the audience are quick to spot a fake, so he had to live and breathe the discipline of a boxer to truly embody the character.

The intensity of the role was so deep that Samrat found it difficult to switch off even after the cameras stopped rolling. He admitted that he often took the character’s rage home with him, leaving his family to interact with 'Ravi' more often than they interacted with the real Pulkit. He credited the show’s director and crew for helping him maintain the necessary focus throughout the grueling production schedule.

Samrat also praised his co-star, Divyenndu, for being a pillar of support throughout the filming process. He mentioned that working with a fellow actor who approaches the craft differently allowed him to learn and grow. The actor also took a moment to thank his family, whose sacrifices and constant concern for his well-being made it possible for him to commit fully to the project.
